Is it possible to obtain Kazakhstani Visa for the foreigners who do not have citizenship of any country?
Yes, it is possible, but there are certain conditions. There are categories of citizens who have a travel document confirming their identity, but which is not a passport and does not indicate that the foreigner belongs to the country that issued this document. Such categories of citizens include refugees.
According to the Geneva Convention on the Status of Refugees, where Kazakhstan is participated, an international travel document issued on the basis of this convention is also recognized in Kazakhstan.
It is important to remember that since the refugee's travel document does not indicate belonging to a particular country, the foreigner's invitation/application will indicate a "stateless person", and instead of passport data, the data of the travel document will be indicated.
Yes, it is possible, but there are certain conditions. Current migration rules provide visa C2 category for family members of citizens Kazakhstan – for family reunion. One of the conditions is the duration of marriage – not less than 3 years.
What if the marriage is less than 3 years?
Based on our practice we can recommend at least 3 options:
▪️ Work visa C3 – spouse is employed and employer applies for work visa based on letter of invitation or application, for up to 3 years depending on category of work permit*;
*there are some cases, when foreigner is exempt from issuing work permit
▪️ Residence permit – the period of consideration of application is 45 calendar days. Residence permit is issued for the for the duration of the passport up to 10 years;
▪️ Private visa B10 – it is issued for the period up to 180 calendar days with the right of stay 90 calendar days at each entry.
What if the marriage is less than 3 years?
Based on our practice we can recommend at least 3 options:

In 2023, Croatia joined the Schengen area - it will allow free movement between Croatia and member of EU states without border control.
Nowadays, visas to Croatia will be issued in accordance with all the requirements of the Schengen countries, which implies medical insurance, biometrics, visa fee, etc.

How can foreign worker invite his/her mother-in-law in Kazakhstan?
According to current migration rules, a foreign worker can invite his/her spouse, children and dependent parents to Kazakhstan. The employer can issue C3 visa as accompanying persons of the employee for them. However, inviting mother-in-law under C3 visa as an accompanying person is not considered by the rules.

Tourist visa B12.
Tourist visa is suitable if the period of stay in one trip is not exceed 30 days. Tourist visa B12 is issued for up to 90 days:
▪️ single entry visa - you can stay up to 30 days for the entire period,
▪️ multiple entry visa - you can stay for up to 30 days for each entry.
Private visa B10
If a longer period of stay is required, we can recommend applying for a private B10 visa.
A single-entry private visa is valid for up to 90 calendar days, with the right of stay for the entire duration of visa. The period of validity of a multiple entry visa is up to 180 calendar days, with the right to stay for up to 90 days at each entry.
Citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan or a foreign citizen with a residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan can be an inviting party.
