Obtaining a B8 visa
One of the key stages of residence permit application is obtaining a B8 visa.
A B8 visa will not be required if you are a citizen of a country with which Kazakhstan has concluded a bilateral agreement on visa-free entry and stay of citizens. For citizens of other countries, it is a mandatory requirement.

Document collection
After counselling and obtaining your B8 visa, we start gathering package of documents. You will receive a full and detailed list of documents that we will help you to collect.

Having collected the necessary documents, we submit them to the Migration Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The term of consideration of documents is approximately 1 month.

In order to obtain a residence permit in Kazakhstan you do not need to pass tests for the knowledge of state/Russian language or the country's history.
The residence permit gives you the right to work in any region of Kazakhstan without restrictions. You have no need to apply for a work permit in that case.
Foreigners with the residence permit are taxed in Kazakhstan on a common basis with the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since a residence permit implies living in Kazakhstan for more than 180 days a year, it means that a foreigner with the residence permit will be a tax resident of Kazakhstan.

A foreigner with a residence permit cannot be outside Kazakhstan for more than 183 days within consecutive 12-month period from the date of residence permit issuance. Otherwise, the migration service has the right to cancel the residence permit.
