A residence permit or permanent residence permit is a document confirming the right of a foreigner to reside in the Republic of Kazakhstan for a long term.
In Kazakhstan, a residence permit is issued for the period of passport validity, but not more than 10 years, with the possibility of renewal for a similar period.

We were approached by a client whose passport had run out of space for stamps. As a result, it was necessary to replace the passport with a new one.Despite the fact that the passport is the main document for obtaining a residence permit, the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan does not provide for the replacement of residence permit when changing the passport.

1. Download the eGovMobile mobile application and log in.
2. Select the "Enotary" service in the "Services" section.
3. Fill in the details and click on the "Order Service Online" button.
4. Sign the service using a short code or biometrics.
5. Allow access for a video call with the notary.
6. Press the button "Go to video call" and wait for a reply from the notary.
7. Pay for the notary's service according to the set tariff.
8. Receive the digital power of attorney in the "Digital Documents" section.
