Visa calculator

The Visa calculator is a tool that allows you to easily and quickly calculate the number of days a foreign invitee can stay in Kazakhstan under a visa or visa-free regime.

We hope that the Visa Calculator will be useful and convenient for you!
Important note:
The calculator can be used to calculate the days for visa and visa-free travel.

The information about the allowed period of staying in Kazakhstan depending on your citizenship you can learn here.

Visa-free regime

When calculating visa-free stay, select a period that is valid for your citizenship (30 or 90 days).

ALGORITHM FOR CALCULATING 90/180 DAYS
Since January 2023, the algorithm for calculating the permitted 90 days in 180-days period for foreigners staying in Kazakhstan under a visa-free regime has been in effect. For citizens of the EAEU (Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Russia), the 90/180 days calculation also applies.

Visa regime

When choosing a visa regime, the calculator calculates the length of stay on a multiple-entry B2 visa. A multiple-entry B2 visa is issued for up to 180 days with the right to stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan for a total of up to 90 days.

Notification of arrival

Notification of arrival of a foreigner is required within 3 business days since arrival date in Kazakhstan. Submission does not depend on the order of entry and stay as well as purpose of visit of a foreigner.

Notification is submitted to the migration service by the host (inviting) party via Visa-migration portal vmp.gov.kz or eQonaq.kz system. It is important to notify the migration service if the foreigner:
  • changes address within the city,
  • travels to another city in Kazakhstan.

Late submission of the notification entails administrative liability of the host entity (organization) in accordance with the Article 518 of the Administrative Offences Code.
